Cue The Future

"I'm living in the future, so the present is my past" -Kayne West

I’m slowly rebuilding my library, this time focusing on digital books. It’s a whole helluva lot easier to carry around.  Here’s some of my favorites:

Here are the gems on my Kindle as of:  Jan 14, 2010

  • The Innovator’s Dilemma
  • Information Rules
  • The Bro Code
  • Letters from a Stoic
  • Atlas Shrugged
  • Expanded and Updated 4-Hour Work Week
  • Bargaining for Advantage

Here’s a list of books I recommend:

  • Business Model Generation: This is a gorgeous coffee table book for the geeky entrepreneur.  Buy here.
  • East of Eden: Simply Genius exploration of human choice and relationships. Buy here.
  • On the Beach: Fantastic artwork, great coffee table. Buy here.

When I want to read a book, but I don’t have time for it right now, I add it to my wishlist.
Here’s my Goodreads and Shelfari sites, both of which don’t integrate with the kindle, and therefore will never be even close to accurate. I pray that one day Kindle will release an integrated social network, or at the least, an API to access purchased, % read, and notes data. But, I might just have to settle for usingBlippy to track purchases.

Lightweight Update

I write infrequent (quarterly at most), semi-formal updates of what I'm doing and thinking.
